Glimpse into Heritage and be part of it
Beginning
Y A D Hendrick Wijeratne, a Railway Head Guard with Ceylon Government Railway, selected exclusive artifacts for this house which he built around 1930, during his visits to various parts of the country. You will find this still preserved.
Third generation
Now the ownership has passed onto the third generation.
Renovation
With the talents of a renowned architect, the restoration of the house began to bring it to what it is at present. All areas were carefully restored and new areas added without affecting the originality.
Present
Today after the reconstruction even the furniture was refurbished to retain its original charm with some items custom made to give it the timeless splendor and dignified elegance.
